Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Oceania Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 Maps and Navigation applications on the Android platform in Oceania showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:

Uber - Request a ride had a fluctuating download pattern with weekly downloads peaking at around 8.8K in mid-July and then gradually declining to approximately 6K by the end of September. Active users also showed some volatility, starting at around 290K in late June, peaking at about 327K in mid-September, and dropping to 255K by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 3.7K to 5.8K, peaking in mid-September. Active users displayed a slight increase from approximately 134K at the beginning of the quarter to around 143K by the end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also saw stable download figures, mostly hovering between 3.2K and 5.7K, with a notable dip to 3.2K in mid-September. Active users remained relatively steady around the 77K to 79K mark throughout the quarter.

13cabs - Ride with no surge demonstrated a growth in downloads from 3.2K in mid-July to 5.2K by the end of September. Active users increased from about 5.8K at the start of the quarter to over 7K by the end, indicating a growing user base.

My 7-Eleven showed a decline in downloads from 6.7K in late June to around 3.1K by the end of September. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, starting at approximately 69K and ending at around 63K.
